We have been working with ABinBev and the music festivals they sponsor to help ensure the cups used at the events are collected and recycled back into new cups. With the summer not over and events still to come we hope to collect as many cups for recycling as possible.

We not only help with the collection and recycling of the cups, but also capturing them too.

At Parkpop & Anouk’s concert in The Hague (NL) organised by Mojo Events we helped setup a deposit scheme the capture the cups for recycling. Visitors could return cups to the bar or deposit bins and exchange them for a recycling token or a discount of their next drink by avoiding a cup deposit charge.

We have provided the events with our new Rubbish tracking software through The Rubbish Portal. To enable them to capture their recycling data.

With the help of our consultancy, tools, and software we have managed to help events measure the recycling rates for their cups. This is important not only so the event can understand its environmental impact and seek to minimise it, but also to enable them to report this data to local governments to comply with new legislation.
